CUSTOMER TERMS

International: 30% Deposit / 70% Prepay

Domestic: 30% Deposit for orders over $2000.

All new customers must Prepay via credit card. Payment method must be supplied at time order is placed and will be held on account until the order is ready to ship, at which time the payment method with be charged or payment requested.

Your current terms - whether Prepay or Net30 will automatically apply to this season’s orders. Any requests for review will take place for the following season. Payment terms are subject to change based on payment history.

All Immediate Orders are Prepay Only.

 

Payment Update:

Prepayment is due no later than two weeks after we send your order confirmation and payment is requested. After two weeks, we will apply a fee of 5% of your total order, and the fee will increase to 10% after one month, and so forth.

All goods shall be shipped at the customer's expense unless otherwise specified on the order or pre-authorized by Little Journeys Chicago. Shipping fee will be added to the total cost of order before charged.

All orders are valid unless canceled in writing by the purchaser within ten days of ordering. Any orders canceled after the selling season closes and after production begins are subject to a 30% restocking fee. Little Journeys Chicago reserves the right to charge this cancellation fee to the credit card supplied at the time of order placement.

In addition, please submit any requests for changes to shipping and payment terms before the close of the season's sales window. Little Journeys Chicago is not responsible for any changes requested after that time. Such requests submitted after the season's sales window closes will not be guaranteed and are subject to approval.

Returns:

We have a strict no return policy unless pieces are factory damaged. Claims for damage need to be submitted within 10 days of receiving the product.

Social Media Policy:

If you wish to repost Little Journeys Chicago images for social media purposes, you must, at minimum, copy all credit and tagging details so that the correct people receive credit and are tagged on your feed. Please request permission to use our images on your website or use the images for advertising and email marketing purposes.

Minimum Assortments:

Apparel 3 units per style and color, all apparel is sized S-XL (unless otherwise indicated).

Crinkled Scarves, Block Printed Scarves, Milan Scarves, Tango Scarves, Rome Bags and Napoli Bags are prepacked 2 per style and color. Each style of scarves and bags have quantity minimums. This is to ensure that a collection is represented. Prepacked items also help to reduce plastic use.

Alpaca accessories are all handmade and take time. We require minimum of 90 days minimum for order turnaround. Each piece is hand-knitted and will vary slightly in size due to the nature of knitting and the hand made touch requires for knitting and embroidering. One size fits most.

One-of-a-kind:

We have collected over the past 30 years an amazing showcase of beautiful handworked textiles from India, Peru, and Bolivia. Each piece is carefully curated and lovingly revitalized. These include frazadas, gudris and pillow covers. Due to their age and history, they are not “perfect” as compared to new product resulting in irregular patinas and quirks that indicate a hand made garment or textile.

There is a minimum quantity per category listed on the page. Again, this is to ensure that your customers are shown a good selection to choose from. These One of a Kinds are not returnable unless we are notified within 10 days of delivery of any unreasonable defects and damages. A restocking fee of 15% may be applied and customer is responsible for return shipping costs for returns not falling within the defect or damaged category.

Online Platforms:

All customers must advise Little Journeys Chicago before selling on any third party e-commerce platforms and Little Journeys Chicago maintains the right to withhold permission.

 

This catalog is for retail resellers only, and orders and resale locations are subject to approval by Little Journeys Chicago and Little Journeys, Ltd.. Resale through third party online marketplaces is expressly prohibited unless otherwise indicated by Little Journeys Chicago in writing. Prices shown are in US dollars, FOB Chicago; they are guaranteed for the Markets and subject to the terms indicated below.

Buyer agrees to the following conditions: Cancellations are not acceptable before completion date. Terms: First orders payable credit card. Net 30 days on established accounts with 3 credit and 1 bank reference. 1.5% per month may be imposed on unpaid balances 10 days past due. All sales subject to prior orders. Claims: Claims for shortage, error or damage in shipment must be made to Little Journeys Ltd., within 10 days. Items that are not satisfactory may be returned for exchange, credit or refund within two weeks. Back Orders: Merchandise temporarily out of stock will be placed on back order or cancelled as determined by Little Journeys Ltd. Back Order information is indicated on each invoice. If you do not accept back orders, please indicate with order. Guarantee: 100% Replacement on defective merchandise. Prices: Prices, specifications and terms are subject to change without notice. Shipping charges will be added. Returns: No returns will be accepted without prior authorization. We will not accept responsibility for any charges incurred by refusal of an unauthorized shipment. All merchandise returned is subject to 15% restocking fee. Designs: All reproduction or use of Little Journeys Ltd. designs without prior written permission from the designers is strictly prohibited by law.
